## Create your user account

> ⚠️ If you have been invited to **join** an organisation, **do not follow these steps**, as you will be asked to create your own organisation. Instead go to your email invitation and follow those instructions to create your account.

> ℹ️ A credit card is required to sign up however you will not be charged anything until you add devices to your account.

To create a user account visit [https://app.scopious.co.nz](https://app.scopious.co.nz/) and click **Sign Up**:

1. Fill out the registration form with your details.

2. After clicking ‘Create Account’, an email containing a verification code will be sent to your email address. Please review the email and enter the code to complete the registration process.

> ℹ️ You must fill in all required fields and enter at least one phone number to create an account.

## Create your organisation

If you have not been invited to join an organisation, then you will be required to create your own organisation. To create your organisation, [follow these steps](https://scopious.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/75176673).

> ℹ️ If you are just wanting to join an existing organisation and not create your own organisation, then do not proceed any further. Instead, contact the administrator of the organisation you would like to join and ask them to [invite you](https://scopious.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/91619359/Manage+organisation+invitations#Send-an-Invitation) to join their organisation.
