> If you are a reseller and you are not a member of a managed organisation, you can easily request to join the managed organisation by generating a collaboration request.

## Request to Collaborate

> ℹ️ When you create a managed organisation, you automatically become the owner (and as such a member) of that organisation. Thus this procedure is only necessary if, after creating the managed organisation, you are removed as a member from that organisation.

To request to collaborate with a managed organisation:

1. Navigate to the **Customers** page using the navigation menu on the left side of the screen (only available to Resellers).
2. Click on the organisation that you want to collaborate with.
3. Click the **Send Collaboration Request** button.

Once the managed organisation [accepts your collaboration request](https://scopious.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/75157036/Collaborate+with+managed+organisations#Accept-Collaboration-Request), you will be able to [switch to that organisation](https://scopious.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/75147003/Change+organisation#Change-Current-Organisation).

## Accept Collaboration Request

> ℹ️ This procedure defines the steps necessary for a managed organisation to accept a collaboration request sent from their reseller.

To accept a collaboration request:

1. Navigate to the **Organisation** page using the navigation menu on the left side of the screen.
2. Click on the **Collaborations** tab.
3. On the request you want to accept, review the role that the collaborator will be given and click **Accept**.
