## Update a Site

You can edit the name, description, boundary and colour of a site. You can also move the position of locations within the site.

### Open the Site

1. Navigate to the **Network > Sites** page using the navigation menu on the left side of the screen.
2. Click on the map pin of the Site that you want to update and click on the site card title to open the site page.

### Update Site name and description

1. Enter a new name and/or description.
2. Click **Save Changes**.

### Update Site boundaries and move Locations

1. Click the three dots (…) context menu on the top right of the screen.
2. Click **Edit Site**.
3. Make changes to the boundary, site colour and the positions of the locations within the site. You cannot edit a boundary in a way that puts one or more Site Locations outside that boundary.
4. Click **Save Changes**.

## Update a Site Location

You can edit the name and description of a location and upload or remove images. You can also reposition and remove devices from existing images.

### Open the Site Location

1. [Open the Site](https://scopious.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/287571990/Manage+Sites#Open-the-Site).
2. Then either:
  1. Click on the map pin of the location within the site that you want to update, or
  2. Click **Select a Site Location** and select the location from the list.

### Update Site Location name and description

1. Enter a new name and/or description.
2. Click the **Save** button on the top right.

## Update Site Location Image

### Open the Site Location Image

1. [Open the Site Location](https://scopious.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/287571990#Open-the-Site-Location).
2. Then either:
  1. Click on the three dots (…) menu on the top right of the image that you want to update and click **Edit**, or
  2. Click on the image to open it and then enable **Edit Mode**.

### Update Site Location Image

1. Once in **Edit Mode **you can:
  - Enter a new name and/or description for the image.
  - Move existing devices on the image by dragging them.
  - Add new devices to the image by clicking on the image and selecting a new device from the dropdown.
  - Remove devices from the image by **right clicking** on a device and clicking the **delete** button.
2. Click **Save Image**.

## Delete a Site

> ⚠️ Deleting a Site will also delete the Locations for that site.

> ℹ️ Deleting a Site will **not** remove Devices associated with that Site from the system.

To delete a Site:

1. [Open the Site](https://scopious.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/287571990/Manage+Sites#Open-the-Site).
2. Click on the three dots (…) context menu on the top right of the page.
3. Click **Delete Site** and confirm your decision.

## Delete a Site Location

> ⚠️ Deleting a Site Location will also delete the Images for that site.

> ℹ️ Deleting a Site Location will **not** remove Devices associated with that Site Location from the system.

To delete a Site Location:

1. [Open the Site Location](https://scopious.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/287571990#Open-the-Site-Location).
2. Click the **Delete** rubbish bin icon and confirm your decision.

## Delete a Site Location Image

> ℹ️ Deleting a Site Location Image will **not** remove Devices associated with that Site Location Image from the system.

To delete a Site Location Image:

1. [Open the Site Location](https://scopious.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/287571990#Open-the-Site-Location).
2. Click on the three dots (…) context menu of the image you want to delete, select **Delete**, and confirm your decision.
3. Click the **Save** icon to save your changes to the Location.

## Delete a Device Location from an Image

> ℹ️ Deleting a Device Location from an image will **not** remove the Device from the system.

To delete a Device Location from an image:

1. [Open the Site Location Image](https://scopious.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/287571990#Open-the-Site-Location-Image).
2. Right click the device to be removed, click the **Delete** rubbish bin icon, and confirm your decision.
3. Click **Save Changes**.
