## Gauge

A gauge cell is used to show the most recent value of a single field of a single device. Thresholds can be configured on the gauge to display coloured ranges. This can be useful to convey the severity of the value.

## Graph

A graph cell is used to show data over time as a line graph. Multiple fields from one or more devices can be displayed on a single graph, and [device thresholds](https://scopious.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/75141813/Manage+devices#Create-a-Threshold) can also be shown on these graphs. You can show and hide individual fields and thresholds on the graph by clicking the cog icon and selecting **Show Filter**.

## Graph + Single Stat

A graph + single stat cell displays a line graph with the latest value overlaid on the graph. This is useful if you want to see the latest value at a quick glance when first opening the dashboard.

## Heatmap

A heatmap cell displays the distribution of data where the colour represents the different concentrations of values. It is best used with multiple devices that are measuring the same type of field in order to identify trends in the data.

## Histogram

A histogram cell is a useful way to display the distribution and identify trends in device data. The data is divided into a specified number of bins. The Y-axis shows the number of times that each field value on the X-axis occurred.

## Scatter

A scatter graph cell can display a scatter plot of the values for one or more devices. It is useful for observing trends and identifying outliers in the data.

## Single Stat

A single stat cell simply displays the latest value of the selected field of a device.

## Table

A table cell displays the values of a field in a tabular view. Multiple fields of multiple devices can be visualised using a table by selecting the field for the device that you want to view using the navigation menu on the left of the table.
