## View a Dashboard

To view a Dashboard:

1. Navigate to the **Dashboards** page using the navigation menu on the left side of the screen.
2. Select the dashboard you wish to view.
3. Hover over graph cells to view data values at any point in time.

## Change the Time Range

> ℹ️ You can change the time range of data displayed in the dashboard.

> ⚠️ When viewing data over longer time ranges, the displayed results will be automatically aggregated so not every individual data point will be displayed.

To change the time range of the dashboard:

1. Click the **Clock** icon near the top right of the dashboard.
2. Either:
  1. Select a predefined time range from the dropdown menu, or
  2. Select **Custom Time Range** to define a custom time range

> ℹ️ The displayed time format in graphs adapt to the time range selected, so the time format may not always match the format configured for the cell.

## Automatically Refresh Graphs

> ℹ️ You can change the automatic refresh rate of the dashboard or pause automatic refreshing altogether. Automatic refreshing is designed for dashboards that are to be displayed for long periods of time.

> ⚠️ When choosing an automatic refresh rate, select the longest refresh rate while still being suitable for your needs. Choosing quicker refresh rates may result in degraded performance when many users are using the application.

To change the refresh rate of the dashboard:

1. Click the **Pause/Refresh** icon near the top right of the dashboard.
2. Either:
  1. Select a predefined refresh rate from the dropdown menu to turn on automatic refreshing, or
  2. Select **Pause** to halt automatic refreshing of the dashboard. In this state you manually control the refreshing of the dashboard by clicking the **Refresh** icon at the top right of the dashboard.

## Switch between Local Time and UTC

> ℹ️ You can display time values in either your local time or UTC.

To switch the displayed time from Local Time to UTC:

1. Click the **Local Time** icon near the top right of the dashboard.
2. Select **UTC**.

Do the same again to revert back to **Local Time**.

## Maximise Cell Size

You can maximise a cell of your choosing and display it in full screen mode.

- To maximise a cell, click the enter full-screen icon (highlighted in the red circle):

- To minimise the expanded cell, click the exit full-screen icon (highlighted in the red circle):

## Zoom In/out of Graphs

You can zoom in on both the X and Y axes on graph type cells. This allows you to quickly examine a graph in detail without having to adjust the dashboard time range.

- To zoom in on the X axis, click and drag horizontally to zoom in on a specific x-axis time range.
- To zoom in on the Y axis, click and drag vertically to zoom in on a specific y-axis value range.
- To zoom back out, double click anywhere in the cell.
